Delt Spring Rush T-Shirts, January 25th 2011
Goal #19 for 2011 (Design a T-Shirt) ACHIEVED.
This year I was chosen to be Director of Media of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, which means I am in charge of creating the spring and fall rush shirts for the fraternity. Its funny because last year one of the goals I missed was design a T-Shirt, and this year when I put it on the list of goals again, it just so happens that I’m also placed in a position that requires me to do just that. I think thats a good idicator of a worth-while goal, when you find yourself achieving it because of what you’re doing in life anyway.
That being said, I cannot take even half of the credit for designing this T-Shirt. My Big, Mikey Caro is a master of photoshop (which I am not) and he came over and helped me design the shirt. The idea was based off of the “Mad Men” TV show and fashioned after those T-Shirts with a suit print on them. Mikey spent a good number of hours sitting next to me and telling me where to click and what to do in order to make the shirt. There’s no way I would have been able to do it without him. So thanks Mikey!

My Business Card, January 16th 2011
Goal #30 for 2011 (Make Business Cards) ACHIEVED.
I’m pretty psyced. They look really cool. Sure the font is too small and people with bad eyesight won’t be able to read my email, but….
…they look really cool!
…and hopefully the type of clients I attract will be young people with good eyesight.
Yeah. Thats it. I’ll call it a marketing decision.
Here’s the list of all my goals for 2011: GO GOALS!

Happy Photos Business Card, January 12th 2011
Somewhat on a whim I decided to contact Happy Photos about an internship for spring. I got their business card randomly in the fall from a guy in my fraternity. It took all the way until the new year for me to even pick up a phone and call them, mostly beause of being so busy, and partly not knowing yet that I wanted to focus on photography. But once I did the results were suprisingly optimistic. As of now it looks like I’ll be shadowing Xuong Do of Happy Photos on weddings in the Spring. It’s still kind of up in the air as far as schedules go and other logistics, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it will work out and I can get some valuable professional photographer expereince.
If I do secure this internship, it will accomplish goal #8 for 2011 (Get an Internship).
Can’t wait to see what happens!

Photo Wall, January 11th 2011
Right now I’m kinda obsessing with my photo-wall cuz I just finished putting up all 609 photos I printed out at Costco over winter break. Add that to the approximate 600 that were already there, and I have well over a thousand photos on my wall. Unfortunatley that doesn’t quite accomplish goal #29 (Cover an entire wall with photos in my dorm room), because it doesn’t quite cover the entire wall. But have no fear, I know at some point this year I’ll be printing out another huge batch of photos, so hopfully I can cover the wall then.
